The House Analogy: Core Resilience Skills

Weekly

Visualize resilience as a house. Identify the three core skills (coping, problem-solving, relationships) as the foundation.

If you can develop three core skills your ability to cope your ability to problem solve and maximize relationships then you can have a strong house and if you have that strong house then you'll be able to weather life storms

Learn about fostering positive interactions and creating a safe, supportive environment as key elements of resilience.

Engage in Intentional Positive Interactions

Daily

Focus on creating moments of genuine connection with your child. Think quality over quantity and ensure the interactions are child-led where possible.

Provide as many positive interactions for your kids as you can.

Weekly

Evaluate your child's environment (physical and emotional) for safety and support. Identify one area for improvement and implement a change.
