Dream Big: Envision Your Ideal Future

Connect with the desires of your heart and envision your ideal future self in 10 years. Dump all desires and inspirations without editing or restriction. Consider this your 'Implementation Intention' exercise.

10-Year Vision Meditation

Daily

Imagine yourself 10 years from now living your best possible life. Focus on what you are doing, what you look like, how you interact with others, your environment, your possessions, and your feelings. Scaffolding questions: What are you most proud of? What challenges have you overcome? Who are the key people in your life?

Imagine that a decade of time has gone by and you are living your best possible ideal for yourself and your life dream big don't put any restriction on it

activity

Define Top 10 Priorities

Daily

From your dream life vision, identify the top 10 most important outcomes you want to achieve in the next decade. Focus on what truly resonates with you, not what you think you *should* want. Example: "I am financially independent."

I want you to list the top 10 most important to you not what you feel like should be on the list because it's very important to personalize it

Quarterly Sprint: Define Realistic Outcomes

Chunk backwards from your yearly goal to define realistic outcomes for each quarter, month, and week. This is the core of 'Backward Chunking.' Remember that progress, not perfection, is the goal.

Backward Chunking Ritual

Daily

Starting with your yearly goal, chunk backwards to define outcomes for Quarter 1, each month within Quarter 1, and each week within Month 1. Scaffolding question: What smaller steps will get you closer to your yearly goal?

We're going to chunk backwards so if at the end of quarter 1 you want to have a rough draft done we're going to chunk backwards to where do you want to be at the end of month one where do you want to be at the end of month two and where do you want to be at the end of month three which is the end of quarter 1

Daily Habits: Your Dream Management System

Define daily habits and actions to reach weekly and quarterly outcomes. Leverage 'Habit Stacking': Attach new habits to existing ones. (e.g., After I brush my teeth, I will outline my chapter for 15 minutes)

Implementing the Habit

Daily

Make daily actions linked to yearly and quarterly goals. Identify potential obstacles and create 'if-then' plans to overcome them. Address potential anxieties by ensuring there is a plan for self-compassion if things are not going smoothly.

You have to attach things to time time is what reality is we live in reality so if we just say I want to weigh this much by the end of the year but you don't ever attach it to on Monday I'm going to do this on Tuesday I'll do this on Wednesday I'll do this you know it just stays detached from time and therefore it stays detached from reality and that's what causes the dreams to not become reality that's what causes these dreams to die
